Friendly and approachable staff obviously cat lovers, various types of accommodation all to a high standard and all with heating for the cold months.

Would highly recommend Tanglewood! Have used many times – most recently January 2026. Staff are very friendly and great with the cats. Both my cats looked chilled and well when we picked them up. Heating in the accommodation was good in the winter – felt very toasty in there.

This cattery is great.
The accommodations are lovely and clean.
My cat has only ever stayed in the standard accommodation part and that is lovely and big enough with a heater inside and a bed and the outside part is big enough.
The staff are lovely and friendly.
They have brushed my cat Lily as she is getting old now and not cleaning herself as much now.
I love that I get an update and a photo on Facebook.

Have been using this cattery for over 20 years. Great place, lovely gardens, polite and helpful staff. They always accomodate my needs as I have a very fussy cat. I drop my cats off knowing they will be happy and well looked after.

We have used tanglewood for a couple of years now and they have always been warm and welcoming and always make a fuss of Milo. When Milo's brother Oreao got run over last year just before a family holiday they was very compassionate and gave Milo extra fuss. I would definitely recommend

I have been using Tanglewood Catery for many years. It’s the only Catery that will use. My fur babies love it and I know that I can go away and have peace of mind. Keep up the good work

Tanglewood staff are always helpful, they make a real fuss of the animals! We have been boarding our cats here for a while, leaving them for short and longer breaks.

I have used Tanglewood cattery for several years now and have always found them to be professional and well run and have no worries about leaving my cat in their care.

We were so worried about leaving our cat for the first time to allow us to go away. We needn't have been as the whole experience at Tanglewood was great from start to finish. Excellent communication, fabulous space and updates with pictures that put us at ease. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place and our cat came back happy and settled back home straight away. I placed my cat at Tanglewood for just over three weeks in November 2024. I was initially worried about how she would cope in the cattery for such a long time, but Jennifer, Holly, and the team made a real fuss over her. They sent me regular updates and photos of my beautiful girl.

Unfortunately, a week in, my cat wasn't feeling well. Tanglewood responded immediately; they contacted me right away, monitored her on an hourly basis, and provided me with twice-daily reports and photos. Fortunately, she fully recovered after a couple of days.

When I picked her up, she seemed very relaxed and happy, and did not seem bothered to leave. lol

I cannot thank Jennifer, Holly, and the team enough for taking such good care of my baby. I would not hesitate to book her in for our 2025 holiday. Thank you all once again! xx

My 10 month old Kitten, Phoenix, stayed here for 12 days over the Christmas period and the staff have been absolutely amazing with giving regular updates and photo’s over WhatsApp which really kept my mind at rest. She returned home happy indicating she was well looked after when I collected her also. Thank you Ricardo and Holly for your amazing care 🙂

First time leaving our baby in a cattery, we were worried but Ricardo kept us updated and the lodges are amazing, clean, well thought out just all round amazing, thank you. I would 100% recommend

This is the only place I will leave my cats when I am away. Lovely staff and the lodges are just like home from home. I never have to worry as they are well looked after and always settle back at home straight away.

My Titi had the best stay at Tanglewood. She is so well looked after. Been using Tanglewood for a few years now including my other cat that passed a few years ago. She was so happy and well fed. We put her in one of the luxury kennels because we wanted to give her the best space. Best thing we ever did. Loads of space for her. She was given all her extra treats that we supplied. Never go anywhere else. Thanks to all the staff. You’re all amazing xxx

I was anxious with leaving my 2 rescues here for a couple of days as they have never been boarded before. They had a great spot and are back home fairly chilled. Very happy with the service. Will use again. Thanks especially to Amanda and Daniel for putting my mind at ease. Sounds crazy but it was a big step on my part!!

I have used Tanglewood for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. My cats always come home relaxed. The staff are so caring as though they are their own pets. Excellent accommodation in a truly beautiful settings.

After some recent travel delays they kept the gates open and had the cats ready for pick up …. really appreciated them!

Our cat has stayed with Tanglewood for a few years now over the summer holidays. We know he is getting cared for there. When we left him with other catteries he would come home very stressed, however, none of that with Tanglewood. Fantastic staff, lovely arrangement of lodges and all other boarding options. We will happily have our cat stay there again for our next time away, knowing he is well cared for.

Polite, knowledgeable people. The accommodation is great, and the location is relaxed. Our cat "Chuck" has stayed there a few times, and comes back relaxed and happy.
